Scott Low is a man of many hats. Balancing his time between devout family man, columnist, getting in copious amounts of fishing and starting/running his Hatch Camp & Art Farm Low found the time to record a new record. Burning Tires, Smoking Gun (cover art by Adam O’Day) is an album of folk songs about where we are at as a society.
Today he is offering up a sample of what is to come with the title rack “Burning Tires, Smoking Gun”. With gentle melodies and Low’s scratchy vocals the Georgia singer songwriter delivers a somber tune about loving our fellow humans and our planet. With everything that is going on in today’s society (shootings, violence, poverty, hunger and so on) if we all show a bit of compassion and work together things can change. This is a beautiful song and some of Low’s finest writing.
