The Georgia Country and Gospel Music Association (GCGMA) held its 8th Annual Awards Show on Nov. 6, at the North Georgia Trade & Convention Center in Dalton, Ga.
Keirsten Hedden won Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist in Traditional Gospel for the 13-16 years category.
The awards qualify Hedden to compete in the NACMAI (North America Country Music Associations, International) competition which will be held in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. during the 14th Annual NACMAI Country Music Week beginning March 7, 2011.
Hedden attends Blue Ridge Music Academy in Clayton, Ga., where she has taken guitar lessons for two years.
She is a student at Franklin High School and is the daughter of Glenn and Sherry Hedden of Franklin.
