On Sunday, June 23, Violinist Benjamin Beilman will return to the Rabun Music Festival stage and perform with his sister, violist Elizabeth Beilman. Mr. Beilman played a well-received concert here two years ago and we are delighted to have him back.
Mr. Beilman performed debut recitals to rave reviews in the 2011-12 Young Concert Artist Series in New York, and in Washington, DC at the Kennedy Center. He was also awarded the Helen Armstrong Violin Fellowship.
Violist Elizabeth Beilman is an engaging and versatile performer. Based in Los Angeles, she serves as principal violist of Opera Santa Barbara and the Young Musicians Foundation Debut Orchestra. She performs regularly with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, the Grant Park Music Festival Orchestra and the New World Symphony, among other ensembles.
The concert is June 23 at 4:00 p.m. at the Rearden Theater at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School.
